Product Description
Safety at ground level with a protective base Harvia WL100 / WL110
Harvia has developed a durable and safe heat protection jacket for the fireplace, significantly reducing the necessary safety distance. The heat protection jacket effectively prevents the effects of direct heat on combustible materials.
The jacket is made of sheet steel with an aluminum-zinc coating. Its temperature reaches a maximum of 80°C during normal operation, allowing it to be mounted horizontally with a mere 50 mm distance from combustible wall materials. Using a heat protection jacket poses no problem for log walls. The protective base comes into play when, for example, the fireplace is installed on a tiled floor with water-repellent treatment. If the fireplace is installed on a wooden floor with the protective base, a heat protection jacket must also be used.
