Before purchasing and installing the Cozy 18 QUATTRO-TW, the responsible chimney sweep must be contacted without fail. With a wood-burning sauna stove, the requirements for flue gas routing, fire protection, chimney connection, installation location and operation are particularly important. The specifications of the chimney sweep and the requirements of the responsible authorities are always decisive.
The stove is intended for sauna cabins from 9 m³ to 18 m³. This size specification is important so that the stove is operated neither undersized nor oversized. A stove that is too small will have difficulty reaching the desired temperature, while a stove that is too large can lead to uneven heat development.
The stone quantity must not exceed the maximum of 120 kg. The stones must be clean, heat-resistant and suitable for sauna stoves. They should not be stacked too densely so that air and heat can continue to circulate inside the stove. Incorrect stone filling can reduce the stove’s performance and increase the stress on individual components.
During operation, sufficient air supply must be ensured. The Cozy Quattro uses a special construction in which fresh air is guided into the combustion process from above. This air guidance supports a strong flame and clean combustion. To ensure that this principle works reliably, air paths must not be blocked.
The stove complies with the BImSchV II standard, the German standard for wood-burning stoves. However, this conformity does not replace an individual on-site inspection. Every sauna, every chimney and every structural situation may involve different requirements. Therefore, installation and operation must always be professionally planned and coordinated.
Use only suitable, dry firewood and operate the stove only under the intended conditions. The cast-iron stove door is robust and easy to maintain, but should be checked regularly and kept clean. The sauna stones should also be inspected at regular intervals, as they can wear out due to strong temperature changes.
