Information on Battery Disposal
Note on the Disposal of Used Batteries
The following note concerns end users who use batteries or products with built-in batteries:
Free Take-back of Used Batteries
Batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. You are legally obligated to return used batteries to ensure proper disposal. You can return used batteries to a local collection point or to a retailer in your area. We, as distributors of batteries, are also obligated to take back used batteries. Our take-back obligation is limited to used batteries of the type that we carry or have carried in our product range. You can therefore either return used batteries to us with sufficient postage or return them free of charge directly to our dispatch warehouse at the following address:
Amilano GmbH
Industriestr. 1
86920 Denklingen
Germany
Meaning of Battery Symbols
Batteries are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out trash can. This symbol indicates that batteries must not be disposed of with household waste. For batteries containing more than 0.0005% mercury, more than 0.002% cadmium, or more than 0.004% lead, the chemical designation of the respective pollutant is located below the trash can symbol - "Cd" stands for cadmium, "Pb" stands for lead, and "Hg" stands for mercury.
