Blocksauna Element Relax is your personal retreat for relaxation in the garden. Here, you can enjoy soothing sauna sessions with friends and family in an unforgettable atmosphere. The Element Relax sauna is the fourth model in the Blocksauna Element series. It combines compact exterior dimensions with a spacious sauna interior thanks to its elegant and smart design. Built in a modern style from 40 mm double-groove block planks, this sauna makes a striking impression in any garden. The sauna is made from Nordic pine and is also available in thermowood.

With a relaxing terrace

Use your sauna year-round regardless of weather and enjoy a high-quality interior with a fantastic lighting atmosphere. The sauna includes a separate covered terrace, detached from the steam room, perfect for cooling down and socializing after sauna sessions. The terrace measures 250 x 246 cm (~6 m²) and can be styled to your taste.

Use the terrace as a cooling zone with outdoor sofas, loungers, or hanging chairs. A popular Finnish trend: a wooden hot tub placed beside the sauna, offering bathing enjoyment year-round—even with bubbles!

Sauna with a view

A large glass panel consisting of a glass door in a wooden frame and three windows opens a stunning view of the garden and landscape. L-shaped sauna benches measuring 60 x 187 cm + 50 x 140 cm made of alder wood provide enough space for 1–5 people. The lower 60 cm-wide bench offers additional seating or reclining in a cooler temperature zone.

The Blockbohlen Element Relax sauna is fully electric: with our 9 kW heater series, the desired temperature is reached within 30–45 minutes. Available options include powerful Harvia Glow and Cilindro heaters, as well as Fintec heaters from Germany with external control. Elegant indirect lighting (optional) is provided by two LED strips behind the benches and two exterior lights.

With compact dimensions, the sauna can be delivered fully assembled and painted. As a self-assembly kit, the Element Relax garden sauna is easy to build. Feel free to contact us with questions or for consultation—we're happy to help!

It’s especially recommended after physical activity, helping muscles relax and recover. It also supports healing from soreness, minor injuries, and joint issues. Sauna heat promotes endorphin release, providing pain relief and euphoria. In addition to relaxation, it strengthens immunity. Body temperature rises, blood vessels expand, and sweating begins—naturally detoxifying the body. The warm-cool contrast improves circulation and builds resistance to cold during winter, reducing colds. With your own sauna, your garden becomes a private wellness retreat.

Good to know

Thermowood quality: Thermowood is heat-treated wood that offers superior durability and insulation—ideal for sauna construction. Its advantages include dimensional stability, moisture resistance, and natural protection from fungi and insects. Thermowood absorbs less water after treatment, reducing swelling and cracking. It requires less maintenance and has a pleasant smoky scent that fades over time. The wood’s natural color ranges from deep brown to coffee shades. For those who prefer weathered tones, no extra treatment is needed.

Care tips

We recommend treating Thermowood with a protective wood oil to prevent discoloration and graying due to UV exposure. Unprotected wood may suffer from weather damage. Pigmented thermowood oil helps revive the deep tone of the wood.

Exterior wood should be treated annually depending on condition. Interior surfaces should be treated with indoor-safe finishes only.

Depending on frequency of use, regular disinfection is recommended. Always use towels in the sauna. If the door sticks over time (due to wood movement), it can be easily adjusted via screws. To maintain interior humidity, place a bucket of water in the sauna after each use.

Important note: This sauna is delivered as a self-assembly kit. All options you select in the configurator will need to be installed by you on site.
