Blocksauna Element Choice is a compact wellness cabin for sauna lovers and their guests. Made from 40 mm double-groove boards, this premium sauna combines traditional Scandinavian sauna culture with modern Scandinavian design. The result is a stylish and functional sauna that turns your garden into a true wellness oasis.

High-quality wood: Thermowood
Thermowood is heat-treated wood that, due to its durability and excellent thermal insulation properties, is ideal for sauna construction. Key advantages include dimensional stability and moisture resistance. It features a firm texture and unique appearance. It is also naturally resistant to fungi and pests. Another benefit is its reduced ability to absorb moisture due to the heat treatment, which minimizes cracking and swelling. This significantly reduces the maintenance required. During treatment, the wood develops a smoky scent that gradually fades. The color of the wood ranges from dark to coffee brown. Those who appreciate the natural weathered wood look can forego additional care.
Care instructions
It is recommended to treat Thermowood with protective products, otherwise it may fade and gray due to sunlight. Weather conditions can damage untreated wood. Pigmented thermal oil can refresh the dark appearance of the wood.
The exterior should be treated annually with a protective coating, depending on its condition. The interior should only be treated with suitable indoor products.
Depending on usage frequency, regular cleaning of the sauna is recommended. Always use towels inside the sauna. If the door begins to stick over time (due to wood movement), it can be easily adjusted with the adjustable screws. After use, it is recommended to leave a bucket of water in the sauna to maintain humidity.
