Sauna bench modules
Modules for Sauna Benches
Comfort in the sauna naturally depends on the furnishings. You can create beautiful furniture yourself using the wooden modules for sauna benches that you can find on the pages of the Amilano catalog. These are beautiful and functional modules with a wonderful surface texture, specifically designed for small sauna rooms to save space. They can be built as steps or in a corner arrangement.
For sauna materials, we have chosen wood with low thermal conductivity, such as aspen, thermally treated aspen, and abachi. Benches made from this material do not overheat and remain pleasant for your skin without the need for a blanket.
Important Bench Features
Traditionally, sauna benches are constructed with three tiers, although this rule is no longer as crucial nowadays. In rooms with low ceilings, it's common for the bench to have only two tiers. Therefore, you can choose between two or three tiers for the bench. In addition to the number of tiers, the following criteria should also be considered:
- The construction must be open at the bottom to facilitate ventilation during floor cleaning.
- A slant allows water to drain.
- Plastic or rubber pads between the bench and the floor prevent wood rot.
- The construction must be precisely fitted to avoid wobbling or creaking.
- Regular application of wood care products prevents decay, mold, and fungi.
Before assembling the benches in your sauna, carefully consider all the details and choose only quality wood materials. This will assist in the construction, and the results will bring you joy for a long time.
