Product Description
Sauna profiling wood made of aspen is an excellent choice for designing and enhancing your sauna. Aspen, also known as trembling poplar, is appreciated for its numerous beneficial properties. One of the outstanding features of this wood is its low density, making it light and easy to handle. Furthermore, aspen contains no resin and has few knots, making it particularly aesthetic and practical for sauna construction.
This profile type is referred to as STP, which means that the corners are rounded with a radius of 3 mm. This feature gives the profile a classic and elegant look that is ideal for use in saunas.
Another significant characteristic of aspen is its high tannin content. These natural compounds not only significantly reduce the risk of wood decay under conditions of increased moisture but also impart a unique, pleasant scent to the wood, enriching the atmosphere in your sauna. Aspen wood coverings are known for their low tendency to crack, increasing their durability and lifespan. Additionally, this wood is easy to work with, making it ideal for all construction and renovation projects in humid environments.
Due to its texture and noble appearance, aspen wood is often used for high-quality sauna products. The light wood with its fine grain seamlessly integrates into any sauna decor, giving it natural elegance. Furthermore, aspen wood does not heat up as much, increasing comfort in the sauna.
