The sauna profile wood made of thermo aspen is an outstanding choice for the expansion and design of your sauna. Thermo aspen is characterized by its low density, the absence of resin, and a minimal number of knots, making it a particularly popular material. The heat treatment increases the natural resistance of the wood to decay and mold in high humidity and minimizes the risk of warping and cracking. A high tannin content helps make the wood more durable and less prone to damage under sauna conditions. It also emits a pleasant, soothing scent that naturally enhances the sauna experience.
Advantages of Thermo Aspen:
- Increased resistance to moisture and temperature fluctuations
- Minimal risk of cracking and warping, which increases longevity
- Free of resin and therefore no sticky surfaces and no unpleasant smell
