The Char-Baskets make charcoal grilling significantly more convenient. Instead of pouring briquettes directly onto the charcoal grate and then stacking or spreading them with a tool, simply fill the lit charcoal into the sturdy baskets.
For concentrated direct heat, push the two baskets together. This creates a powerful heat zone that is ideal for searing steaks or grilling burgers.
For indirect grilling, move the baskets apart and place a drip pan between them if required. This method is especially practical for slowly cooked food such as whole chicken, ribs or juicy roasts.
The Weber Char-Baskets are supplied as a set of two and are placed on the charcoal grate. They are suitable for Weber charcoal grills with a diameter of 47 cm, 57 cm and 67 cm.
